Next Generation Broadband has huge potential and is vital for Scotland′s future. It will bring much faster speeds to homes and businesses, expanding the scope and choice of services available, particularly in areas such as health provision, education, entertainment and business services. It will unlock innovation and it is important that Scotland has the infrastructure to exploit these new opportunities. Following the publication of the Digital Scotland and Scotland′s Digital Future - a strategy for Scotland - reports, we will discuss the Way Forward for Scotland.

This one-day NextGen Roadshow brings together suppliers, community stakeholders, investors and expert advisors to explore and understand the opportunities to transform local broadband access networks and to make it happen.

For local community and enterprise leaders and all those focused on economic growth and societal development the day offers a flexible mix of workshops and plenary sessions - from technological choices to the challenges of leadership and management - from investment rationale to community and customer engagement.
