NextGen is delighted to be supporting partner of the Rural Summit 2017 which takes place in Eindhoven and the wider Brabant Kempen region, the Netherlands on 22 and 23 March 2017

The 2017 Rural Summit is produced in collaboration with the Intelligent Community Forum and explores the challenges rural regions face, including economic growth, sustainability, aging and depopulation – as well as remarkable new opportunities for progress in a connected digital society.

Broadband makes rural regions more attractive places to live, work and create companies, while also integrating them into the larger rural-plus-urban areas of which they are a part. The connected digital society leads to rural revival: connected, vital and economically strong rural regions re-connected to urban centers.

Summit attendees will meet in Eindhoven and sessions of the Summit will take place in that city as well as locations across the Brabant Kempen region.

Who should attend?

Mayors, chief administrators, information technology managers and economic development officers from local authorities Officials of regional and national authorities concerned with rural development Executives of agricultural, transportation, information technology and telecom firms targeting the rural market Educators and academic experts on rural development.
