|2017 Awards Categories and Shortlisted Finalists announced||14 Jun 2017|
London, 14th June 2017
NextGen announced today the Digital Challenge Awards project shortlist at Total Telecom's 2017 Connected Britain conference.
Following the 'Open Call' for nominations, seven Awards categories have been selected to reflect current digital endeavours in the UK. For each of those Awards between four and six project nominations have been shortlisted for assessment by an independent panel of judges. The full list of Finalists is available here.
Commenting on the changing landscape of digital development in the UK, NextGen Awards co-founder David Brunnen said, "Over the past seven years the awards have always adapted to the current digital environment and once again we are delighted to highlight brilliant projects that deserve recognition. This year there's greater emphasis on Digital Skills and Place-Making - both of which are key to stronger city/community development."
The short-listed Finalists will now be invited to prepare submissions for the judging panel. The results of the competition and publication of case summaries will be announced at an Awards Presentation Dinner in central London in October.
